Young Leaders Summit

The Young Leaders’ Summit on Northern Climate Change is an opportunity for youth, aged 18 to 30, to come together and discuss climate change mitigation and adaptation in Northern Canada.

Participants will learn about various impacts and actions from Elders, researchers, land-users, policy makers, and other climate leaders. This is also a great opportunity to connect with others from across the north.

The location for this summit will be at Akaitcho Bay, on the shores of Great Slave Lake, just outside of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

The eligibility is for anyone between the ages of 18-30, priority on regional representation from throughout the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon.
