Some home owners in Nain may soon have no water services because of outstanding water and sewer balances.
Benigna Ittulak is the Town Manager for the NICG.
She says that the majority of the outstanding balances have been paid, except for a few that have been notified but haven’t paid yet.
If these balances are not paid by August 4, 2016, their water services will be shut off.
Ittulak added that once the water services are shut off, the homeowner has to pay the full balance owed, plus an additional $30, to be reconnected.
