Twin Flames Perform in Nain (Audio)

Jaaji and Chelsey June, better known as Twin Flames, visited the OK Radio studio here in Nain, NL yesterday before performing an amazing show at the JS Centre last night.

Jaaji is an Inuk Mohawk man from Nunavut and Kahnawake.

Chelsey June is an Algonquin Cree Métis French Canadian woman from Ottawa, Ontario.

They say that they have wanted to come to Labrador for quite some time.

They found the Nain area to be very beautiful and quiet, compared to the city that they live in, Ottawa.

The musical duo had an incredible experience in the Torngat Mountains National Park as well.

That experience included performing a concert in Ramah Bay.

Jaaji and Chelsey June also have an interesting story about how they originally got together, including a funny case of mistaken identity.

The couple added that they have a new album out, Signal Fire.

They are also scheduled to participate in the National Indigenous Youth Summit currently taking place here in Nain.

There was a huge turnout for the concert last night, and many people bought Twin Flames CD’s after the incredible show.
