Construction of new homes by the Torngat Regional Housing Association has begun in Hopedale.
William Lucy, TRHA’s Coordinator, says the work began last week.
He adds that the building supplies have recently arrived in Makkovik and Rigolet.
Construction should get underway in those communities soon.
