Struggling Dollar May Lead To Increases At Pumps This Week

The struggling Canadian dollar may have some impact on fuel prices this week, according to the Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices.

Spokesman George Murphy has released estimates which show increases across the board.

He says heating and stove oils should rise by about a cent a litre this week.

Diesel is expected to rise by eight tenths of a cent, with gasoline going up about three tenths of a cent.

The official prices will be released by the Public Utilities Board (PUB) tomorrow.
