The Status of women Coordinator will be travelling to each of the Nunatsiavut Communities, Upper Lake Melville and St. John’s during April and May 2016.
The 2013 Inuit Women’s Conference report will be available to women to review with a focus on recommendations.
The travels and meetings begin in Nain on April 18th at the Nunatsiavut administrative building boardroom, and then in Hopedale on April 21st at the Nunatsiavut Government assembly building boardroom.
On May 2nd the meetings will be in Postville at the Recreation Hall, May 3rd in Rigolet at the DHSD community room, Happy Valley Goose Bay May 11th, North West River May 12th, and St. John’s May 25th.
All meetings will be held from 7 to 9 pm.
There will be a grand prize of an IPad Air for participants who attend.
