The Torngat Arts and Crafts had a seal skin workshop last week in Nain.
Frances Murphy is the Executive Director for the shop.
She says there were seven elders there to demonstrate how to clean and sew seal skins boots.
There were also six observers at the workshop.
Murphy says elders were very helpful and sewed water-proof black bottom boots.
There was a display of seal skin boots as well.
Black boots and iKattaituk (white bottom) boots were on display.
Murphy adds it was a really good workshop with a strong turnout.
