On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, on November 11 each year, Canadians are asked to pause in memory of the thousands of men and women who sacrificed their lives in the military service.
This day is called Remembrance Day and will be celebrated this Monday November 11th, 2019.
The North Coast schools of Labrador all held their ceremonies yesterday.
The OK Radio attended the Jens Haven Memorial School in Nain yesterday morning to record the ceremony.
In observance of Remembrance Day, the OKâlaKatiget will be closed this Monday, and we will hold our regular programming this Sunday, November 10th, 2019.
