The ‘Quirky Quilters’ travelled to Nain this week to meet with the group they made a generous donation to last month.
Sandra McSweeney was among the quilters who met members of the Nain Care group for lunch.
McSweeny says they were delighted to meet with members of Nain Care who received a generous donation from the quilters of over $6, 000.
Also in attendance was Sophie Ford, one of the newest members of the ‘Quirky Quilters’.
Ford says she was actually a part of a group of four women who created Nain care in 1990.
