The Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) in Nain has programs ongoing in July.
OK Radio spoke with Alice Okkuatsiak, a Community Health Worker with DHSD.
Okkuatsiak says there are Adult Afternoon Socials every Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
This for adults aged 18 and up.
Okkuatsiak added that they had the Adult Afternoon Social this past Monday, but they usually have the Social every Wednesday.
You can play cards, Skip-Bo or dice, and snacks and refreshments are provided.
The Biggest Loser Challenge has about 7 to 9 participants left.
And there will be Drowning Safety next week.
They will have a display about Drowning Safety at the Post Office.
Okkuatsiak added that they will be having trivia questions daily on OK Radio, and there will be a prize drawn daily as well.
