Premiers And Leaders Meeting In Goose Bay (Audio)

Premiers from almost every province and Aboriginal Group met in Happy Valley-Goose Bay last week.

Terry Audla, President of Inuit Tapiriit Kanadami was in attendance.

He says the issues discussed included residential school, foster child care, and the key topic – missing and murdered aboriginal women plus much more.

Audla says the premiers met with leaders from different aboriginal groups, officials from the Assembly of First Nations, Congress of Aboriginal Peoples, Metis national Council, Native Womens Association of Canada, Nunatsiavut Government and ITK.
