The Nunatsiavut Government has 12 Polar Bear licenses available for 2013.
The hunt opened for beneficiaries on February 1st.
James Goudie is the Wildlife Manager for Nunatsiavut Government.
He says to date there have been no luck for beneficiaries to bag a polar bear.
Goudie says each hunter will hold a license no more than 7 hunting days.
