The Nunatsiavut Language Culture is seeking nominations to acknowledge individuals who strive to keep the Inuttitut language and culture alive.
We spoke with Shirley Jararuse the Language Program Coordinator for Nunatsiavut Government.
She says there are two different prizes to be awarded Inuttitut & cultural preservations recognition awards.
Awarded for Inuttitut or Culture awards
One is a $1000 cheque and the other is a plaque.
The deadline date is Friday December 22, 2023.
