The community of Postville are without police officers now since last December and the community are unsure when they will return back to their community.

It could be a hard situation or problem without any police officers in the community.

Glen Sheppard is the AngajukKâk for Postville Inuit Community Government.

He says an interview was done on this issue regarding no RCMP in the community since Dec. 17, 2018.

Sheppard says Postville should have police presence in the community 20 days per month, which was said in an agreement that was put in place through the office of the justice minister.

Sheppard says “I still cannot get a confirmed date of when the police will be back in Postville on a regular police patrol.”
