National Inuit Committee on Health Meets in Nain (Audio)

The National Inuit Committee on Health gathered in Nain last week.

Natan Obed is the Chair of the committee.

He says they meet four times a year.

Two of those meetings are held in Ottawa while the other two rotate to the different Inuit regions.

Nain was chosen as the location for their meeting in Nunatsiavut.

Obed says they discussed priority areas within Inuit health.

He says the areas identified were similar throughout the four regions.
