The Nain Young Women’s Day is taking place soon.
The traditional Inuit day is this Friday.
We spoke with Kitura Solomon, one of the cooks for the Young Women’s Day.
She says this year the AngajukKâk is Maria Dyson.
Solomon says right now they know of 14 girls that will be having their day on March 6, 2015.
And this year the cooks will be Solomon and Maria Ikkusek.
They will be holding another meeting tomorrow night at 7pm at Solomon’s home.
She adds that the AngajukKâk is looking for another AngajukKâk helper to assist her with this special event.
