An Inuit Health Survey presentation is taking place in Nain this evening.
The presentation will be held in the Nunatsiavut boardroom from 7-9 pm.
The results of the Inuit Health Survey were presented last week in the north coast communities.
The survey was conducted in 2008.
Katie Winters is the Northern Contaminants Researcher for the Nunatsiavut Government.
And Tom Sheldon is the Director of the Environment for Nunatsiavut.
Winters says they went to each of the north coast communities to do presentations on the survey results.
She adds the goal of the survey was to get a better picture of the health and living conditions of Inuit in our communities.
