The Nain Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) team will be holding a meeting this evening.
Sid Pain is the Commander for GSAR.
He says right now there are 23 Volunteer members for the Nain Ground Search and Rescue team.
The captains are: Ron Webb, Gary Ford, Joey Angnatok and George Lyall.
Pain says if the Nain GSAR members need to spread a word out to the Nain residents, they will do so by posting a message on the Nain Bulletin Board.
He says this may be a faster way to spread out warnings or messages, and to notify residents.
Pain adds during their meeting, they will start notifying the residents about ice conditions.
We will get more information on the Nain GSAR meeting once it becomes available.
