The Nain fish plant started processing char last week and is now smoking the char.
Deidi Kohlmeister is the Office Supervisor for the Nain fish plant.
She says there are 26 employees working and there are 10 fishermen fishing.
Kohlmeister says 10,000 lbs of char has been landed to date.
She adds there are smoked char, crab legs, fillets and whole char to sell if anyone is interested.
