CFIA Issues Recall on Several Products Due To Potential Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a number of products due to potential Salmonella contamination.

A recall is in effect for Christie brand Ritz Bits cheese and pizza flavoured sandwich crackers.

The expiry dates include November 24 and 29, 2018 and January 23 and 24, 2019. The crackers were sold country-wide.

Loblaw is recalling certain No Name chicken nuggets and $10 Chicken Fries from stores due to possible Salmonella contamination.

Mars Food Canada has also pulled two varieties of Uncle Ben’s Fast & Fancy Rice.

The company says the recall affects its Broccoli and Cheddar, and Country Chicken flavours sold in eastern Canada.

Anyone who purchased any of the listed products should throw them out or return them to the store where they were bought.
