A public meeting was held for the residents in Nain about a new vessel for the north coast communities.
There was quite a big turnout from local business owners around town.
There many issues brought forward and questions asked to officials from out of town.
MHA Randy Edmunds officially opened the meeting, MP Yvonne Jones, Peter Woodward of Woodwards, and other officials attended, with Nunatsiavut Government and the Nain AngajukKak.
The main issue or opened ears was no more service from Lewisporte after the new vessel start operating.
