The Nunatsiavut Department of Health and Social Development in Makkovik will be holding another Women’s Spa Night this evening.
The NDHSD held one last March and it was a great success with 12 women participating.
We spoke to Gemma Andersen the Community Health Worker.
She says this is a great way for any women 19 or older to come out and relax.
Andersen says because bingo will be going ahead this evening, the Women’s Spa will be held at the DHSD from 7:30pm to 9pm.
Finger food will be available and the ladies will have a chance to soak their feet, get their face masks on and listen to some music.
There will also be bottles of lotions and perfumes and sets of nail clippers available.
She says they have had good comments about this Women’s Spa, so come out and relax.
Kim Andersen from community Health will also be present and assisting Andersen.
