The Makkovik Moravian Church Online Auction for the year 2014 had its last auction on December 15th.
Carol Gear is the organizer for the online auction.
Gear says a total of $1,824.50 was raised for the month of December, giving her a grand total of $8,310.50 for the year (since May 2014).
Gear says that all winners for the auctions have until Monday December 22nd to pay and pick up their items, unless she has to send items to the winners.
Gear will start her online auction again in the New Year.
The Makkovik online auction is held to raise funds for the Moravian church in her community to pay for congregation fees and insurance.
Gears goal was to raise $7500.00; the church now can decide to use other funds to pay for oil, phone bills, etc.
