The Makkovik and Nain fish plants are still busy with crab and char.
Junior Andersen is the Production Manager for the Makkovik fish plant.
He says there are sixty employees working at the plant at the moment.
Andersen says 283,532 pounds of crab have been landed to date.
He says there are three crab boats fishing.
He adds there is some crab meat to sell at the plant if anyone is interested.
In the Nain fish plant, Deidi Kohlmeister is the Office Supervisor.
She says there are twenty people working at the Nain fish plant.
Kohlmeister says 11,192 pounds of char have been landed to date.
She says there are 20 fisherpeople fishing.
She adds there is smoked char and crab legs for sale if anyone is interested.
