LATP Community Visits

The Labrador Aboriginal Training Partnership will be traveling to the north coast communities this month to hold community visits in Nunatsiavut.

Keith Jacque is the Executive Director with LATP.

He says during the information sessions they will be discussing topics such as Employment Opportunities, the Job Readiness Training Program, and the Underground mining training opportunities.

Jacque says individuals are encouraged to come along and have a chat with either the LATP or VALE staff, or if you would like to drop off your resume or to get help creating a resume.

LATP staff will be in the LATP office on Tuesday, Oct 15, 2019 from 9-12 and 1-3 pm, and again on Wednesday morning, Oct 16, 2019 from 9-12 noon if anyone wanted to drop by.

They will be in Nain on Wednesday October 16 and 17, 2019 at the Nain Hotel upstairs from 2-8 pm each day.

He adds the next community they will be in is Rigolet on Oct 21-22, 2019, in Postville on Nov 4-5, in Makkovik on November 6-7, and in Hopedale on November 13-14.
