The Annual Kirk Andersen Memorial Volleyball Tournament was Held in Makkovik this past weekend.
We spoke with Holly Andersen from Makkovik.
Les Boys took first place for the men and it was Gem’s Diamonds taking first for the women.
Finishing in second place for the men was Team Hopedale and Marg’s Mummers took second for the women.
Party Mix took third place for men and for women third went to Bella’s Fellas.
Amos Fox was the Most Valuable Player for the men and for women the MVP was Charlene Gear from Makkovik.
Most Sportsmanlike Player honors went to Dalton Manak from Postville and Margaret Penny from Makkovik.
Andersen adds that they would like to thank the people that came from out of town and made the tournament more interesting.
