Kate Mitchell of Makkovik is one of the candidates seeking your vote for Ordinary Member for NG on May 6.
She says she is running for Ordinary Member for the Nunatsiavut Government because she feels with her education and experience she can be an asset to the Nunatsiavut Government, and make a difference.
Mitchell says she is happy with the support she is getting.
According to Mitchell, people are happy she decided to run and feel she can do a good job.
Housing problems, getting more done for seniors, and implementing the land claims agreement are some of the issues she’s concerned with.
