The Jens Haven Memorial School in Nain, NL started their Labrador Cultural Day on April 11th, and it continues today.
Here is the schedule for today:
This morning the day started with the Amazing JHMS Spring Carnival race, and the students squared off in a tug of war in the school parking lot.
From 1:00 to 1:15 p.m., the students met at home base to receive bandanas.
1:15 to 3:00 p.m., will be Inuit games, an awards ceremony, and then they return to home base to collect the bandanas.
Ongoing events are due at the end of the day.
There will be Name that Character over the PA, and Paws challenges on iPads.
Students will get out of school for Easter break on April 13th in the afternoon.
