The 10th annual Inuktitut Speak-off will kick off in Hopedale next Monday.
Sarah Townley is the Inuktitut Program Specialist for the Labrador School Board.
She says 8 students from 4 of the north coast communities will take part.
Two students each from Rigolet, Makkovik, Hopedale and Nain will participate, but sadly there are no students participating from Postville.
The Inuktitut Speak off event will be held at the Amos Comenius school gym.
Townley adds that 3 judges have been confirmed to attend.
They are: John Jararuse of Nain, Doris Flowers of Hopedale and Bertha Ford from Makkovik.
