HVGB Food bank looking for donations

The community Food bank in Happy Valley Goose Bay are looking for donations of non perishable food items.

Patricia Maloney is the Community Outreach Worker with the Labrador Friendship Center in Happy Valley Goose Bay.

She says monetary donations are accepted, with donations over $20 you will receive a tax receipt upon request or when password indicates food bank but will require a return email or mailing address.

Monetary donations can be made in person to the Labrador Friendship Center or you can also do an email money transfer to the Finance Manager, bmcdonnell@lfchvgb.ca

The food bank are looking for any food items, such as: Grand Pre Milk, juice,
cereal, canned goods; canned fruit, canned soup, canned vegetables, canned meatballs & gravy, canned spaghetti, ravioli, crackers, Carnation milk, Kraft dinner, sugar and teabags.

Please check the best before dates.

And all donations can be dropped off to the Labrador Friendship Centre.
