The Community shed in Hopedale is in operation since December of 2018.
Cassie Jararuse is the Regional Youth Program Services Coordinator for Makkovik.
She says William Dicker is the Community Shed Coordinator and Ross Flowers is the Instructor.
As of today the Instructor Ross Flowers is teaching five youth and five community members how to make a flat.
Jararuse says Nain and Rigolet community sheds are doing the same thing, making flats.
She says the shed is open to the public for anyone who wants to drop by and work on their own projects, But they have to pay for their own supplies.
