The community of Hopedale had a wonderful turnout to celebrate their journey on healing and to strengthen their home community.
This event took place at the Nanuk Center last evening.
McKinley Winters is the Team Leader at the Hopedale DHSD.
Winters says this is in collaboration with the Community Mobile Trauma and Addictions Healing team with the DHSD staff.
A community feast was held at 5pm and ended at 8:30 last evening and approximately 251 people showed up.
The community feast consisted of Caribou roast, Caribou Nikku, Caribou
Kuak and a desert.
This will be a 4 day event and will finish on Thursday.
