Girl’s Quest Program

The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science is currently accepting applications from Labrador youth for the Girl Quest 2019.

Girl Quest gives young youth the experience to explore the depths of engineering, science, mathematics, and technology in a way that is interesting, fun and educational.

Each year a new curriculum and resources are explored for the Girl Quest Program.

There are a total of eight scholarship spaces available for July 21-27, 2019.

To apply, girls must be 9-12 years old, who have a love of science and be able to travel to St. John’s on Sunday July 21, returning Saturday, July 27.

Preference will be given to those who have not attended Girl Quest in the past.

There are also opportunities for two chaperones to travel and stay with the group.

Chaperones must be at least 19 years of age and provide references and recent criminal record check.

Acceptance to the program offers return air travel to and from St. John’s , accommodations in Memorial’s on-campus residences, meals and snacks throughout the week as well as fun-team building activities.

There are no additional fees for materials or camp activities.
