A new program is being offered in Hopedale by the Nunatsiavut Department of Health & Social Development.
In partnership with the Youth Outreach Worker and the Community Shed Coordinator they will be doing a flat making program.
Right now they are looking for interested youth between the ages of 12-24.
The seats are limited of five seats available and this will be a first come first serve basis.
The instructor for this program is Ross Flowers and he started his position in Hopedale yesterday June 10, 2019.
This is a great opportunity for youth to learn how to make a homemade flat.
Anyone interested in participating in this flat making program, you can contact Michael Mitsuk at 933-3717.
