Fish Plants Slowing Down

The Nain and Makkovik fish plants are slowing down for the summer.

Deidi Kolhmeister is the Office Supervisor.

She says there are ten employees working at the plant.

Kolmeister says they are still smoking char.

And they have smoked fillets and fresh and whole char to sell at the plant.

In Makkovik, there are twenty five employees working at the plant.

Junior Andersen is the Production Manager for the plant.

He says the Turbot fishing has finished up.

And they are working on the last of the crab that was brought in to the plant.
