The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Fifth Estate is investigating the circumstances leading to the tragic death of 14-year-old Burton Winters.
Reporters with the investigative program are expected to arrive in Makkovik this week.
They’re planning to speak with the family of Burton Winters as well as members of the the local Search and Rescue team.
Winter’s stepmother, Natalie Jacque, says she’s scheduled to speak with the reporters this week.
She hopes the crew will be able to uncover some of the unanswered questions surrounding the tragedy.
