Elizabeth Penashue of Sheshasui wants to take a one or two day walk.
Her plan is to walk on the road from her hometown to Muskrats Falls.
Penashue says the walk will start tomorrow, weather permitting.
She says her people want to join in on the upcoming Labrador Winter Games, so she has decided to carry out her walk for the spring earlier.
She added her annual walk is something she wants to keep as a tradition in her life.
She added her biggest concern with the Muskrat Falls project is what will become of the environment in 5 to 10 years.
