The Easter Sports in Nain are holding children’s indoor games and adult’s games today.
Here is a rundown for today’s schedule for the Nain Easter Games.
Today’s events began this afternoon at 1pm at the Jens Haven Memorial School gym with Children’s indoor gym activities.
Children’s games include: Egg hunt, Musical Chairs, Monkey dance, freeze dance, elimination dance, owl hop, target shoot, balloon bust and limbo.
The children’s games will be $1 a game or free with a button.
Adult games will be held at the JHMS gym this evening at 6:30pm tonight.
Adult games will have a $3 fee per event or free with button.
The adult games include: baby feeding contest, balloon bust, limbo, blindfold make up, blind fold dress up, paper blowing race, cross over race dodge ball, blind fold pick up and Inuit games.
Canteen services will be available throughout with various sponsors.
The Easter Sports will run right through until April 29, 2014 with an awards night at 7pm at the Nain Husky Center.
A tent will be set up for all outdoor events.
Easter passes are available at the Nain Inuit Community government; passes can be used for free admission to get into the Easter games.
Passes are: Adults (ages 13-54) $10.00, Youth attending school $8.00 and younger children (ages 2-12) $5.00.
