January 21 to 27, 2018, is National Non- Smoking week.
In honour of this, the Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) in Nain is holding a Non-Smoking Contest.
Shirley Jararuse is the Community Health worker with DHSD.
She says Nain DHSD is having a poster contest for grades 4 to 6.
$15.00 Northern gift certificates will be handed out to the first place winners.
Jararuse adds there is also a youth essay contest on the go.
