Today marks the 2nd day of the Makkovik Trout Festival.
They began at 9am this morning with a build your own raft and race at Ranger Bight.
A family sand sculpture contest was held at 1pm at Ranger Bight.
From 2-4pm, they will be selling bingo cards at the arena.
Starting at 5:45pm this evening, there will be a movie night for all ages at the community hall.
And at 6pm, they will be hosting their radio bingo with $1000 Jackpot to go.
Then at 9pm tonight, they are holding the Albert Ford Memorial Dart Tournament at the community hall.
Tomorrow Saturday, August 13, the amazing paint race season 3 will be held starting at 10am.
At 11am, the homemade miniature boat race begins, followed by the trout festival fair at the arena at 12 noon.
They will end off the festival with the trout festival supper at 5pm with live entertainment at the tout festival dance from 10pm-1:30am by 2 members from the Silver Wolf band, 2 local musicians Jimi and Dicky, and Bon and Jamie Jackman.
