Cruise Ship Ocean Endeavor Ready to Sail

The cruise chip Ocean Endeavor will be ready to set sail on Wednesday June 29th, from St. John’s Newfoundland.

Ocean Endeavor was built in 1982 specifically for passengers to experience remote environments.

The ship can accommodate up to 198 passengers, and the ship is at its maximum capacity.

When Ocean Endeavor departs St. John’s it will make its way north to Greenland…ports include Notre Dame Bay, Lanse au Meadows, Wonderstrands, Hopedale, Hebron, The Torngat Mountains National Park, and three other locations in Greenland.

The cruise ships also have staff members from Labrador.

Crew members from Nunatsiavut work as Expedition team members and bear monitors.

Passengers enjoy the vast area of land and sea, meeting local people, sightseeing, museum entries, park accesses, the wild animals, and zodiac tours.

The 13 day cruise will end on July 11th at kangidlusuak, Greendland.
