The OKâlaKatiget contacted the Inuit Community Governments along the coast to see what they have for their Community on the Enhancement Employment Programs.
At the Makkovik Inuit Community Government, their expected start date is on Monday, November 18th, 2019 and letters must be submitted to the town office by Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 at 3 pm.
Their activities planned for this year includes Community Clean up, Craft making, Construction of Cemetery Crosses and benches, Snow shoveling, and Assisting Recreation Staff during events and programming.
In Postville, their start date for this program is on December 3rd, 2019 and will be doing traditional crafts such as sewing and woodwork.
They are asking that you must have your declaration form and copy of latest ROE into the town and approved by the Dept. of Municipal Affairs a week before you can start work.
In the Rigolet ICG, the expected start date will be on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 and the activities planned for this program will include crafts making.
They are no longer accepting applications as the deadline was on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019.
