The Chinook Veterinarians left Nain yesterday and travelled to Natuashish.
Dr. Peter Folley is a Veterinarian and he says that they conducted 23 surgeries while in Nain and had approximately 90 out patients including one rabbit.
Dr. Folley says that some of the outpatients included rabies vaccine, distemper, heart problems, teeth problems, and three had to be euthanized.
Dr. Folley adds that they had five students with the team along with three veterinarians.
The team will be in Natuashish for four days before heading back to Happy Valley Goose Bay and Prince Edward Island.
