The Makkovik Minor Hockey Committee announced that the Cape Makkovik Ice Hockey Cup Tournament has become two tournaments for the Junior Minor and the Minor.
Chantelle Evans is the Recreation Director for the leading Minor Hockey.
She says the tournament will begin on March 21st, 2020 at 10 am at the Makkovik Arena.
It is free to apply for the junior minor hockey.
This is for ages 5-18 years and it is for the Tykes, Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget.
There will be tickets, 50/50, prizes and the canteen will be open.
For the Minor Hockey, the tournament will be from March 27th to the 29th and the deadline is March 20th with a $250 registration fee.
For the men ages 17 years and older will consist of 9 players minimum and 11 players maximum, and for women ages 14 years and older will consist of 9 players minimum and 11 players maximum.
There will be a loonie stick and ticket draws for the Wolf-pack Merchandise, a pelican sled and a 65” Smart TV.
