It’s been nearly two months since the new Nutrition North program began operating.
Nutrition North replaces the former Food Mail program.
The goal of the program is to provide healthy, affordable foods to northern communities.
Michele Wood is a Nutrition North Advisory Board Member for Labrador.
She says people in Nunatsiavut should already be noticing changes in their stores.
Some of the changes include better quality perishable foods and lower prices.
Wood says she accepts comments and concerns from people in this region regarding Nutrition North.
Those concerns will be brought to the attention of the federal government who is responsible for delivering the program.
