Adam Lidd (Audio to be added later)

Adam Lidd of Nain first learned how to mend fishing nets when he was 15 years old while fishing at Natsatuk, September Harbour.

Lidd started instructing how to make fishing nets on Monday August 2nd and will wrap up on Friday with three fishing nets completely made.

Susan Saksagiak and Mark Saksagiak are his trainees for this program.

Lidd adds that there are different types of nets that are made, there are char nets, cod traps, seal nets of different sizes for certain seals, shrimp trawls etc.
