Premier Andrew Furey has completed the formal component to the election, being sworn in at the Government House at 9am this morning.
Andrew Furey sworn in as Newfoundland and Labrador’s 14th premier.
He said “Thank you so much Newfoundland and Labrador, for electing me as the 14th Premier in our great province. It is an honor to be sworn in this morning by Judy Foote, Lieutenant Governor of NL, joined by incredibly supportive family.
He won the election with 22 seats in the 40-member parliament.
Furey’s cabinet will be sworn in just after 11am.
