Information on Upcoming MMIWG Inquiry (Audio)

There was a vigil held recently in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL for the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).

Kaila De Boer is Director of Mental Wellness and Healing for the Nunatsiavut Government.

De Boer says that she would like to talk to people about the upcoming MMIWG inquiry.

You have to register even if you have been involved with the inquiry before.

She tells us what processes you have to go through to register for the National Inquiry.

De Boer adds that even women who have experienced violence can talk to the inquiry staff if they want to get their story heard.
