Price of Fuel Shows Minimal Change This Week

Labradorians will get a very small break at the pumps this week, as gasoline and diesel are both down less than a cent.

On Thursday, the Public Utilities Board (PUB) lowered the maximum ceiling that service stations could charge for a litre of any type of gasoline by 0.2 cents per litre.

Some retailers charge considerably less, particularly in the days leading up to the next PUB price setting each Thursday.

Meanwhile, the PUB has also lowered the price of diesel by 0.9 cents.

Furnace and stove oil heating fuel decreased by 0.73 cents per litre, and propane heating fuel has dropped by 0.5 cents.
