Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro filed a request to the Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities for interim rates on Wednesday January 28th, 2015.
According to a news release, the interim rates would become effective March 1st, 2015.
If these rates are approved by the PUB, most customers will see a proposed decrease of approximately 6.3 percent in March.
